Why is it a political act to simply show that Muslims are people too?
Well, as you ponder that, dispense with other preconceived notions and watch this new music video featuring Kareem Salama: the first genuine Muslim country music star.
It's directed by Lena Khan (assistant director on In-World War) and shot by Donavan Sell (also DP on IWW), with help from a whole bunch of other IWW vets too.
The video is not directly related to IWW, but it's good to see the team getting real paid work for a change, esp. on a cool project like that. Check it out.
