In-World War: Screenplay draft 4.0 is complete!

Hell yes.

Weighing in at a fleet 117 pages, we have a screenplay.

Already started sending it out to key team-members.

It's not finished (won't be until fine edit of the film is locked, technically), but this is a major milestone.

It's the first version of the script I feel that's ready for prime time and proud to show people.

Damn straight, we're making a movie.

Stand aside.

Or get on board for the ride.

Post-production action items (updated 10/3/21):
- Finish first round of stop motion VFX.
- Recruit more 2D traditional animators.
- Plan the last pick-up shots.

In-World War, a smart and offbeat indie sci-fi feature, tells the futuristic story of a debt-ridden and depressed beta tester trapped in a buggy virtual reality simulation of the "war on terror".
This site chronicles the making of the film, which is written and directed by Brant Smith (aka DJ Bad Vegan), who also produced the award-winning narrative feature Quality of Life.
