MusikPitch

I noticed you said for deferment. You can run a contest on MusikPitch to score the parts that need unique music. You could also use it for the parts where you were going to just add existing songs (to avoid having to license those songs). Musikpitch works by letting you run a contest for the music you need and songwriters compete to score the project. You set the price you can pay.

Although we charge a $39.00 fee to run the contest, you could set the prize to 0 which will run the contest under 'future royalties'. This won't get you many entries but you'll get some and have a lot of visibility with 100s of songwriters and composers.

Current status

  • Post-production action items (updated 10/3/21):

About the film

  • In-World War, a smart and offbeat indie sci-fi feature, tells the futuristic story of a debt-ridden and depressed beta tester trapped in a buggy virtual reality simulation of the "war on terror".

This site chronicles the making of the film, which is written and directed by Brant Smith (aka DJ Bad Vegan), who also produced the award-winning narrative feature Quality of Life.
